With a completely new approach, Hansjörg Albrecht wants to show Anton Bruckner in all his glory as a master of the "Queen of Instruments". By 2024, the 200th anniversary of Bruckner's birth, he will realize the first complete CD recording of Bruckner's symphonic life's work as organ transcriptions at original European venues and on representative large organs in concert halls and cathedrals.

Parallel to these recordings, Albrecht will present the newly created organ symphonies live to the public in concerts. A worldwide complete performance of these new versions of Bruckner's orchestral oeuvre is planned for 2024.

Perhaps this extensive project can contribute to positioning Bruckner as a new organ heavyweight of the 19th century in the general perception of audiences and performers, as there is as yet no counterpart to the world-famous French symphonic organ tradition of Franck, Guilmant, Widor and Vierne.
