bastille musique presents its twenty-sixth release - Franco Alfano: Liriche - featuring world premiere recordings by Alexandra Flood (soprano), Nina Tarandek (mezzo-soprano), Tanja Ariane Baumgartner (mezzo-soprano) and Klaus Simon (piano).

This first complete recording of Alfano’s art songs, co-produced with Deutschlandfunk Kultur, shows a great variety of works composed between 1896 and 1954.

Additionally, the box set includes two 80-page trilingual booklets (EN, IT, DE) with articles by Stefano Nardelli, Rino Maione and an interview with the interpreters, the complete lyrics and several autograph pages, as well as photos of the composer and of the artists in the recording studio.
