About
With Bernd Alois Zimmermann's Monologues, the piano duo consisting of Vincent and Sophie Neeb feature a rarely-played masterwork as the centerpiece of their debut album. They are "dialogues across time between dreamers, lovers, those who suffer, and those who pray," as the composer describes his work, which was premiered in 1965 and, with its ingenious collages, offers a foray through music history.
