Spanish music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, and their influence on the whole of Europe, are the focus of the work of ensemble Concierto Iberico. This disc focusses on town pipe music frm c 1600.

"We play this music on various historical instruments, with each musician mastering several wind, keyboard or plucked instruments; quite in the spirit of the historical sources, where people like to speak of "all kinds of instruments" for this repertoire. Occasionally we also work with dancers or singers. We particularly enjoy presenting our music at historical locations.
