bastille musique presents its first release »Claude Vivier: Kopernikus« featuring the Opera Factory Freiburg, the Holst-Sinfonietta and Klaus Simon (conductor). The soloists of this SWR studio recording are Svea Schildknecht (coloratura), Dorothea Winkel (soprano), Uta Buchheister (mezzo-soprano), Barbara Ostertag (alto), Neal Banerjee (tenor), Ji-Su Park (baritone) and Florian Kontschak (bass).

In addition to Vivier’s 1979 chamber opera, the set includes a 64-page trilingual booklet (EN, FR, DE) with the libretto, articles by Bob Gilmore and Cornelius Bauer, as well as two concertina-fold inserts featuring photos of the composer and the artists during a staged performance.
