Although no "classical" composer has composed for the instrumentation pan flute and piano, this production proves that many compositions are ideally suited for this purpose. The performers have primarily chosen works that express the most diverse cultural influences of the various European countries. Their aim is to make the diverse timbres of their instruments audible and to let some well-known works be experienced in a new way. For Romanian composers, the combination of pan flute and piano is obvious. It is rather unusual with Bach and Mozart. Let yourself be convinced by "Close to Classics".
