Chamber music and ensemble works of the winner of the 2017 Erste Bank Kompositionspreis, Tyrolian composer Hannes Kerschbaumer, features on the latest recording of Klangforum Wien.

The pieces include works for quarter-tone accordion and ensemble, a string quartet, as well as a piece for tenor recorder and prepared viola. Kerschbaumer’s music does not compromise, it is intense and diverse - here is a young composer to watch!
