Dawn Weiss was principal flute 25 years Oregon Symphony; David Weiss was principal oboe 30 years Los Angeles Philharmonic; Abraham Weiss is principal bassoon 40 years Rochester Philharmonic. The Svoboda and Worthey pieces were recorded live at their world premieres on April 3, 2010 at the University of Southern California. The other pieces were originally on Crystal Records LP S354 released in 1978 and digitally remastered for this CD in 2010.
