About

Violinist Thibault Noally leads his ensemble Les Accents through a new musical adventure inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Around the father of European music are famous and more discreet contemporaries, authors of concertos, such as Telemann, Fasch and Förster.

Enlightened by the miraculous light emanating from the works of German Baroque pieces, the album vibrates, thanks to the obvious pleasure of the musicians to play once more together at Aparté.

Guided by the spirit of the Leipzig cantor, the musicians walk through the alleys of the Eighteenth Century, following Thibault Noally’s sound.

Most comfortable in this environment, Thibault and his violin literally sing alongside his musical mates on these double concertos for recorder or oboe.

September 2019

It's interesting to hear Bach’s A minor Violin Concerto in the context of contemporary German works, even though the performance isn’t always engaging…There’s technical assurance in Thibault Noally’s playing, but not always time for imaginative detail, and ensemble could be tighter in the faster music.

October 2019

The soloist’s lines [in the Förster] enable Noally to show his capacity for lyricism across bubbling strings and virtuoso passagework, and the musicians of Les Accents an equal opportunity to show the polished silkiness and tight ensemble-playing with which they deliver their own bouncing rhythmic energy…In short, there’s lots to enjoy.
