Among his other major successes are Der fliegende Holländer in Bayreuth and Luisa Miller at the Bavarian State Opera. All three operas feature extraordinary casts like Anna Netrebko and Ildebrando D'Arcangelo, Patricia Petibon and Bo Skovhus, Christopher Maltman and Erwin Schrott.
