Six different composers created six different compositions during the development of this young chamber group — an accordion trio. Each of them, in his own way and technique, gives musical thoughts to the listener. However, both composers and musicians alike possess an extraordinary ability to produce interesting and rich sounds. These incredible contrasts encouraged the Runaway Trio to place these compositions together on their first CD. They range from minimalistic 'Åm and Lang', through the compact compositions of Haas and Hosokawa, to the fragmentary 'running of the sounds' of Rojko and the 'obligatory' Mutta whose work represents one of the major milestones of music for this ensemble.
