The Ensemble “Soloists of La Scala”, founded by Riccardo Muti and the Artistic Direction of La Scala Opera House, started its activity in 1990. It has been scheduled since the very beginning in the official season of La Scala Opera House. Formed by the principals of

La Scala Orchestra, the Ensemble has been performing for many of the leading international institutions all around the world (Carnegie Hall in New York, Musikverein in Wien, Tonhalle in Zurich, Tokyo Suntory Hall etc.). The Ensemble collaborated with some of the most renowned soloists and conductors such as Myung-Whun Chung, Daniel Barenboim and Riccardo Muti himself as a pianist.
