Cellist Charlie Rasmussen plays the 11 Capricci by Joseph-Marie-Clement Dall’Abaco.

Joseph-Marie Clement Dall’Abaco was an Italian/Flemish composer and cellist. Little is known about his life, but he left behind some highly significant musical compositions, including these brilliant works for solo cello.

Charlie Rasmussen enjoys an active career as a Baroque and modern cellist, gambist and educator. Mr Rasmussen is currently a cello faculty member at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee where he teaches private and group cello lessons, musicianship classes, and coaches chamber ensembles.
