Lush features Polish-American pianist Anna Kijanowska (key-un-OFF-ska), described as the Tina Turner of Classical music. In her career to date Anna has played in New York, London, Brazil, Nepal and Mongolia.

She is particularly keen on promoting Polish Contemporary music, with two pieces featured: the 2nd Piano Sonata by Grazyna Bacewicz (1909 - 1969) written in 1953 in a Neo-Classical style that makes use of Jazz and Folk Music elements. Born in 1967, Lukasz Wos, also writes in a very accessible manner. The other work on this disc is the Sonata in B minor by Franz Liszt.

All three works offer a richness of sound, colour and texture. They could be summed up as, well, Lush!
