The Romanian pianist bases her selection on the Nutcracker Suite, playing transcriptions by the composer, Mikhail Pletnev (Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy) and Percy Grainger (Waltz of the Flowers) with balletic delicacy and grand passion.
