Highlighting Beethoven's Op 16 Piano and Wind Quintet by two of the three sonatas for Piano and Clarinet, extracted from the work of Johann Baptist Waňhal, a Czech composer from Bohemia who has lived in Vienna since 1762, allows to linger on the contrasts of the musical life of this end of the eighteenth century by questioning more particularly the transmission of Mozartian musical heritage, made of the talent of the latter, enriched by the contribution and influence of musicians from Bohemia, who "trusted" the Viennese musical education and, in fact, helped shape the gift of the Austrian composer (Myslivecek) as Tobias Pfeiffer, another Bohemian pedagogue, the one of the precocious Ludwig.
