Their account of the better- known Duruflé Requiem is nicely shaped. Both soloists are highly accomplished and deliver their contributions with conviction. Scott here gives it a neat, slightly cool reading.

The larger forces of Saint Thomas’s Choir…give the sound greater stability and make for a glossier, smoother blend…[The Duruflé] is equally strong, carefully paced and phrased under Scott’s direction to give the plainchant real direction and flow.
