Awards and reviews

March 2018

The sober simplicity of the chorale Erbarm dich mein, O Herre Gott is exquisitely achieved, the Partita Sei gegrüsset, Jesu gütig noble and sublimely still, the concentrated BWV 564 Adagio altogether ravishing. Excellent sound frames instrument and performances to involving effect, with Ian Alexander’s highly informative notes making this more than a mere souvenir of an outstanding partnership.
