The West Chester University Wind Ensemble is select group of some 50 musicians that performs masterworks of the wind repertoire and is active in the commissioning and performance of new works by contemporary composers. The group maintains a busy schedule of performances on and off campus including recent conference performances at the College Band Directors National Association’s Eastern Division Conference and the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association’s State In-Service Conference. For this new release, the ensemble has chosen repertoire from Charles Ives, David Maslanka, and more.
