There is no attempt to emulate the master’s idiosyncrasies…but the essential charm, rhythmic vitality, sweet tone and parlando phrasing are all there…Rühn is an exceptionally talented violinist well worth hearing

Röhn has this music in his blood, through his grandfather Erich Röhn, leader of the Berlin Philharmonic under Furtwängler, who heard Kreisler play...all wonderfully played by Röhn, springy, stylish and incisive.
