New York Concert Review said of South Korean pianist Eunmi Ko, “… her strengths are an abundance of technique, as well as a beautiful array of pianistic colors…” + Eunmi Ko enjoys a busy career, appearing in concert at Carnegie Hall, the Chautauqua Music Festival, Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, and many more, holding master classes at Eastern Michigan University, the University of Tampa, University of Tennessee, Ying Wa College in Hong Kong, and others. + Ko has been praised for her original programming. For this release she has chosen an array of works, both old and new. Two of the works featured are receiving here their world premiere recordings- John Liberatore’s She rose, and let me in: Scottish Variations and Fugue, and Gilad Rabinovitch’s …star dazzling me, live and elate… which was commissioned by Ko, herself.
