Turkish composer Hakki Cengiz Eren presents a selection of chamber and solo works on his debut album Color Studies. Eren's music epitomizes expressionism in contemporary music, utilizing and enormous range of sounds, forms and textures to create highly evocative and dramatic musical statements. + Eren's main field of concentration is the implementation of microtones (notes in between adjacent piano keys) in music, including the history of temperament and microtonal music of the 20th century.
