The viola and the accordion are the focus of this recording work, two instruments, which have led a shadows existence for a long time. The viola as a rich timbre in symphonic or chamber music form, the accordion as a global player of popular music with the stable smell of folk music. Despite, or perhaps, due to the previous history, as well as the violin and the accordion were turning to treasured protagonists of the New Music.Teodoro Anzellotti and Christophe Desjardins perform as solist but also in a duo on this album named after the composition “...of waters making moan“ by Rebecca Saunders.
