Following QUADRIGA CONSORT's release of "On A Cold Winter's day", on Deutsche Harmonia Mundi, the early music ensemble return with "Winters Delight", a x17 trk release of early Christmas music & carols from the British Isles. No ordinary Christmas album, but rather a winter album for all who get tired of conventional Christmas songs. The album consists of catchy melodies & rhythms played on historical instruments. Musicians include:- Elisabeth Kaplan, Angelika Huemer, Karin Silldorff, Dominika Teufel, Philip Comploi, Laurent Schiffmuller, Nikolaus Newerkla.
