Chamber Choir ‘441 Hz’ was fouded in 2006 on the initiative of a group of students of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. It pursues an intensive concert activity geared to the promotion of new choral music. The choir has received numerous awards at national and international competitions, including the Grand Prix, and the awards for the best interpretation of a contemporary composition, best vocal technique and best conductor at the 13th International Choral Music Competition in Barczewo (2014). This recording contains beautifully recorded works by Andrzej Panufnik, Ola Gjeilo and Eric Whitacre.
