The Edition Primavera already consists of numerous commendable CDs, produced by GENUIN in collaboration with the German Music Competition! The latest work of this series is the debut CD of the fantastic pianist Frank Dupree, the 2014 prizewinner. In his clever program he spans an extremely wide range of music: enclosed by Beethoven's first and last piano sonatas, works of the 20th and 21st centuries – a world-premiere recording of Péter Eötvös, as well as Berio's Encores and Alban Berg's first sonata, are performed. Thanks to Dupree's pianism, this is both an intellectual as well as an extremely sensual pleasure-highly recommended!
