Violinist Joanna Kamenarska and pianist Irina Georgieva are two young Bulgarian musicians. Their first recital disc finds them in a selection of Violin Sonatas by Faure and Prokofiev, and Wieniawski's dazzling Fantaisie Brillante on Themes from Gounod's Faust. This last work is no quick spectacular potboiler, it plays for nearly twenty very fast minutes!
Joanna Kamenarska and Irina Georgieva have known each other since their early schooldays. They reunited during the Salzburg Festival of 2013.
