Once again the Swiss Artist Consort releases a wonderfully balanced production in their own meritorious Genuin series: the sixth by the flautist Felix Renggli. Backed by the Chamber Academy Basel, he performs flute concertos by Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach and François Devienne.

We witness the stunning developments in the music of the 18th century - from the offshoots of the late baroque, through the fury of the Sturm und Drang years and up to the radiance of the classical era.
