About
The ensemble, Les Timbres, winner of the First Prize at the Concours International Bruges in 2009, offers here its first recording, devoted to harpsichord pieces 'in concert' by Jean-Philippe Rameau. Published in Paris in 1741, they play an important role not only in the harpsichord repertoire, but also in the history of music: it could be considered one of the first examples of a piano trio being considered 'romantic'.

Early Music Review August 2014
This trio simply sit down with their instruments and play what’s on the page with a strong sense of style and excellent taste. The recording supports them by delivering a natural sound and balance in which all the important detail can be heard.
