After completing studies in Spain, Andrés Cea Galán attended Jean Boyer´s organ seminars in Lille (France) and also studied with Jean-Claude Zehnder at the Schola Cantorum in Basel (Switzerland).

He is also interested in musicological research, specially on keyboard music and Spanish organs. He has published several articles and books on this subjects. He has made various recordings for radio (Spanish National Radio, Swedish Radio, German WDR, Radio Education in Mexico, Swiss Radio, etc.) and CDs (Lindoro, Almaviva, Universal and Tritó labels).

As a result of his updated approach to the performance, especially of Spanish organ music, he is frequently invited both for playing and teaching in Spain and other countries in Europe, America and Japan.

Flores de música is devoted to the anonimous music collected by friar Antonio Martin y Coll's in 1706. A CD under the name "Angeles o calandrias" is just launched. It features a claviorganum together with the countertenor Mark Chambers, for the Lindoro label.
