About

Some works written in the very particular context of global conflict, by two of the 20th century’s major composers. The first, by Stravinsky, is a truncated version, reduced for trio, of the famous Soldier’s Tale; the second, by Bartok, is his celebrated Contrasts, combining jazz and popular music.
