This is the first album of a series of three which feature ballet/theatre/dance music.
The first one comprises music by French composers amongst them the very popular Arlésienne suites by George Bizet in performances by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande which has a long standing reputation for its performances of French music.
Next years this album will be followed by an album with ballet/dance/theatre music by German composers, and in 2015 by Russian composers.
