About
The next release in Peter Seaborne’s series entitled ‘Steps’ shows a Spanish influence in its creativity. The inspiration came from a visit to Alhambra in Granada and the deep impression that was made upon the composer, in his words – “There was flowing calligraphic poetry, patterning, colour……the heavens represented in stone honeycomb.
Here was a perfect balance of man and god, architecture and nature….harmony.” With the addition of works by Granados and de Falla the Spanish feel is beautifully coloured by the distinguished pianist Michael Bell.
