Since forming their harpsichord duo ten years ago, the Lesaulnier sisters, Chani and Nadja, have performed throughout Europe and won several awards, including the 2012 Göttingen Historical Music Series. In the spirit of the freedom of interpretation characteristic of the baroque period Le Petit Concert Baroque has imaginatively applied the historical art of transcription to carefully chosen works, thoroughly researched and treated with the utmost respect. On this recording they present their felicitous Bach transcriptions emphasizing their musicality and virtuosity.
