This release presents sonatas by Antonio Vivaldi that have previously never been recorded. Inexplicably, performers and producers have overlooked the works for violin and basso continuo of Vivaldi in recent decades. Baltic Baroque ensemble present an entire disc of world premiere recordings of violin sonatas by the Venetian master and promote the quality of these fine works.
