A nice selection of recordings, mostly from the 1950s...Furtwängler (Parsifal prelude, Götterdämmerung excerpts) and Toscanini (Tristan prelude, Siegfried Idyll, Good Friday Music) stand out. The latter is wonderfully expansive and tender, as well as intense, in Wagner.
