The title work of this CD is not just a reference to the composer himself (Pape was born in Hollywood but studied in Denmark) but also a humorous and brilliantly orchestrated tribute to George Gershwin.

Suburban Nightmares is composed for orchestra and solo tuba whilst Traces of Time Lost is a concerto for bassoon.
