About
Christian Danowicz was born in Buenos Aires in 1983 and at the age of two moved with his family to France. He graduated with distinction from the Conservatory in Toulouse. He has also studied opera and symphonic conducting under the guidance of Antoni Wit. This ingenious programme draws the music from two very different periods together through their descriptive elements – seasons. Whilst Vivaldi’s Four Seasons is self-explanatory, Piazzolla draws his inspiration from the seasons of the city of Buenos Aires. Baroque meets the Tango, a fascinating combination.
