Performing two important string quartets fromHaydn and Bartok, the Belenus Quartett was founded in Basel in 2004 and is comprised of musicians of students from the Zurich University of Arts. As a quartet they have studied with all the leading string quartets of the time (the Erato, Amati and Orpheus), and have been prize winners at various competitions over the last few years.
