LOUISE WILLIAMS studied violin at the Royal Academy of Music with Manoug Parikian and at the Juilliard School in New York with Ivan Galamian. She then became a founder member of the Endellion Quartet as its second violinist. After five years, she left music for a while to study organic horticulture in England and meditation in India. On her return to music she switched to viola and joined the Chilingirian Quartet, where she remained for five years until the birth of her three children. Despite working part-time since then, she was a member of the Raphael Ensemble and is currently in the Frith Piano Quartet.

DAVID OWEN NORRIS is a pianist and broadcaster. His recordings on early pianos include concertos by Mozart, Bach, Abel & Hayes, and a comprehensive survey of Elgar. His recordings on modern piano include concertos by Elgar, Lambert, Phillips, Arnell and Horovitz, the complete piano works of Elgar, Dyson and Quilter, and chamber music by Beethoven, Saint-Saëns, Bax, Elgar, McEwen, Dyson, Sherwood and Bridge. His many song CDs range from Schubert and Haydn on early pianos to Schoenberg and Britten on modern pianos, collaborating with such singers as Amanda Pitt, Catherine Bott, Mark Wilde, Peter Savidge, Philip Langridge, Ian Partridge, James Gilchrist and, especially, David Wilson-Johnson. He’s a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Organists, and an Honorary Fellow of Keble College, Oxford.
