As with volume 3 cpo presents another set of large-scope concertos in overture form. Telemann was very inventive and delighted in experimenting with the mixing of genres. As with the previous volumes, Elizabeth Wallfisch and her Baroque orchestra are the ideal interpreters.

Nevertheless, the disc can be thoroughly recommended: appealing music, performed with real expertise and understanding.
