Supported by the knowing pianism of Sholto Kynoch, Bevan and her unaffected soprano voice create a clear compass, especially when the youthful Wolf needs clarification...De Lang has an exceptional emotional availability to whatever any given song demands...Most important, both singers are the sorts of vocal companions that one enjoys hearing over a long Lieder disc.
