About
Giovanni Legrenzi was appointed Chapel Master in St. Mark’s in 1685. The religious environment of his career explains his sacred output, written during his last 35 years. This is the world première recording of the Missa Quinque Vocibus, also known as Missa Lauretana because it was dedicated to the Virgin of Loreto.
