The majority of Peter Ruzicka’s compositions include orchestra. He uses a huge range of sound-images and different ways of shaping time. The Memorial work featured here is a requiem for Ruzicka’s friend Giuseppe Sinopoli, who collapsed when conducting the Berlin Opera in 2001.
