About
Luis de Los Cobos studied both law and music in Madrid and later continued his musical studies both in Rome and the Paris Conservatory. He met Shostakovich in Vienna and corresponded with him, receiving advice about some of his works. His works were rediscovered when he celebrated his 70th birthday. This CD includes the premiere recording of Jungla.
