The music featured in the film is a mixture of works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and some more modern songs which appear towards the end of the soundtrack (Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps, Hold My Hand and Lovebug). Mozart’s music is not limited to the excerpts of Cosi fan tutte, the opera being performed in the film, but rather is taken from a wide range of sources and genres. Opera arias and Overtures, String Quintets, Horn and Piano Concertos, Symphonies, Motets and Serenades are all on show and create a diverse but cohesive track list which reads like a ‘Mozart Greatest Hits’ compilation. Featuring the voices of Alfie Boe, Sarah Brightman and Juliette Pochin as well as members of the cast and the Scottish National Opera.
