Three British Piano Trios are featured in this new release from Heritage, the Phantasie in A minor by John Ireland, the Phantasie in C minor by Frank Bridge and the Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano by Rebecca Clarke. They receive critically acclaimed performances by the Hartley Trio. Clarke’s outstanding Viola Sonata is also included played by one of the UK’s finest violists, Philip Dukes.
