About

Boccherini was an accomplished cellist and composed many quintets with two cello parts. The three divertimentos on this recording are part of Op.16, written for two violins, obbligato flute, viola, two cellos and ripieno bass. This CD marks the beginning of a long-term cooperation between Accent and Piccolo Concerto Wien. The second volume will follow later this year.
