This world premiere performance took place at the Teatro de la Zarzula in Madrid. The story belongs to the tradition of magic realism and Latin American ghost stories. The composer states “It is never clear where one thing begins and where it then comes to an end. AURA – both the story and the opera – is a game of fluid transitions.”
