This Latin delight features trios with piano by two sons of Rio de Janeiro – Heitor Villa-Lobos and Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez. The three trios of Villa-Lobos are youthful works written before his pivotal trip to Paris. Fernândez was born in 1897 and like Villa-Lobos infused his work with the music of his homeland, his Trio Brasileiros was written in 1924.
